The Satin and Lace Camisole Top

I finally gave in to the satin trend, after hesitating for the longest!

I always liked satin, but at the same time, it always reminded me of dressing gowns… I used to think that wearing a satin dress or top would make me feel like I had left the house in my pajamas. However, after seeing multiple outfits with gorgeous satin dresses, I starting thinking “why not?!”.

I bought these Bermuda shorts a while ago, and was always looking for a nice top to match them with. I thought a black top would look really nice with them, but I didn’t want something too simple, I wanted something a little sophisticated, without being over the top. When I saw this satin top from H&M, I thought it was the perfect candidate. Unfortunately, it was around $30 and back then, I didn’t want to spend so much on a top, mainly because I didn’t even know what the quality was like. Fast forward a few months later, and I randomly found out that my dream top was on sale! As you can probably guess by now, I bought it right away (unfortunately, it is now back to its original price…).

I know that Bermuda shorts aren’t the most popular, but I find them extremely convenient for the occasions when I can’t wear regular length shorts (which, let’s be honest, are always too short). I love to wear them to work, on the days when it’s too hot to wear pants and I don’t want to wear a dress. If I knew how to walk in high heels, I would for sure wear them with a cute pair of stilettos!

What do you think about the satin dress/top trend? Would you wear Bermuda shorts?
